Maria Celina, our director, is an artist, architect, visual poet, performer and professor who explores geometry through the transformation of figures to create narratives, and the creation of ‘geoletras’ and ‘geobjetos’, integrating the virtues of geometry with existencial concepts, language and objects.
Maria intertwines art, typography design, space, geometry, language, dance and architecture in her work.
She studies how language, letters, words and geometric figures interfere with our senses, perception, understanding and creation of reality, when explored in the form of walls, mural, artworks, images, animations, installations, text spatialization, and book design.
Maria questions whether thoughts as teh material of teh human intellect could elevate and inner life feel infinite when combining language, objects and daily life with the abstract, everything acquires inner force, sound and an existencial connotation.
